Owner
I’ve been serving this community through my insurance agency since 1998, but my roots here go much deeper. I grew up just down the road on my family’s farm, and now my wife of nearly 30 years, Amy, and I have raised our own family on that same land. We have three kids who keep us on the go with their collegiate and professional sports careers, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. I take pride in knowing my clients personally and building relationships that go beyond business—because around here, neighbors take care of each other. Whether you’re a new face or a longtime neighbor, I’m here to help with whatever insurance needs you have.

I’ve been at Lakeshore Agency since October of 2007, how the time flies. I grew up on a dairy farm just a few minutes out of town and I’ve always enjoyed the area. I’m married and have 3 kids. My wife Ashli is the glue that keeps things together. We are coming up on our 25th anniversary, crazy! Our oldest in in the MN National Guard and attends U of W – Stout. Our middle child will be attending NIACC in Mason City, IA playing basketball and running track. And the youngest has a few years of high school to go! I would love to discuss health, life, and farm or crop insurance with you so stop by anytime.

Office Manager
I had been working part-time at Lakeshore Agency for just over a year before joining the team full-time October 2017. I am enjoying meeting our customers and building personal relationships within our small town community.

Having lived most of my life in Lake City, I have familiarized myself with our rural clients needs.  Outside of work, talking sports with my two adult sons is common!  I enjoy running (yes, for fun!) and spending time with family & friends with a game of cards.

New Business
I've been in the insurance industry since 1988 - back when paper files ruled an fax machines were cutting-edge. Through the years, my commitment has stayed the same: serving clients with honesty, clarity, and care. I specialize in helping individuals understand their coverage without needing a translator or stiff drink. A lifelong Lake City resident, I grew up on a family farm - now home to the Lake Pepin Golf Course. So yes, you could say my roots were replaced by fairways. My husband, Chad and I have two grown children and five grandchildren who keep us smiling, laughing, and occasionally questioning our energy levels. When I'm not at work, you'll find me soaking up time with family, making memories, and enjoying the simple things - like quiet mornings, good coffee, and not stepping on Legos.

I joined the Lakeshore Agency team in September 2016. I have been in insurance for over 35 years starting out as Computer Operator at a small insurance company. I spent over 10 years as an adjuster working on large property losses as well as supervising catastrophe adjusting teams. I have been part of the insurance agency-side for almost 20 years. I enjoy being involved in the community. I am currently a Lake City Kiwanis and Rotary member as well being involved in Chamber activities. I have coached high school softball and basketball for over 20 years, and I am currently varsity softball coach in Red Wing. I have been married for over 40 years to my wife Kristen, I have 3 daughters Nichole, Kelsey, and Morgan plus 7 grandchildren. I look forward to working on any or all of your insurance needs.

CSR
I began my journey in the insurance world in 2019 and haven’t looked back since. I bring a strong work ethic, a genuine love for connecting with others, a commitment to making insurance feel a little less overwhelming, and make it my goal to find ways to help people protect what matters most to them and their family. My husband, Bobby, and I have proudly called Lake City home for the past 16 years. We’re drawn to its natural beauty, tight-knit community, and yes—even those legendary Minnesota snowstorms (though our snow shovels might disagree). Originally from northeast Kansas, we took a scenic route through the southern U.S.—including a delicious stop in Louisiana—before trading gumbo for snow boots. We’re proud parents of three awesome kids: one in high school, two in college, and all of them way cooler than we ever were at their age. When I’m not decoding insurance lingo or wrangling paperwork, you’ll likely find me soaking up the views around Lake Pepin, contemplating the lifespan of a MN Mayfly, digging in the garden, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, or curled up with a good book and a cup of coffee strong enough to stand on its own.

Agent
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls and joined the team at Lakeshore Insurance Agency in 2022. I currently split my time between serving our clients in the Goodhue, Lake City area while also working on my family’s farm in rural Goodhue. I enjoy my job at the insurance agency because it enables me to meet new people in the community and swap stories with neighbors. Whether it’s me or someone else on our team, we’ll make sure your insurance needs are covered.

Jennifer Nibbe

Receptionist
Before joining Lakeshore Agency in March 2022, I survived a 20-year tour of duty at Wild Wings—battle-hardened by seasonal inventory, glitter fallout, and questionable owl art. A true team player—unless there’s only one donut left. Then it’s Hunger Games. Married to the very handsome Ryan (yeah, check him out. He’s a solid 9.5). Proud mom to two high-energy boys who believe bedtime is a scam and mornings are for lollygagging. I love fast cars, slow beach days, and exactly three foods—none of which are allowed to touch on the plate. I also moonlight as a bartender at B. Wells, where I mix drinks, dodge weird pickup lines, and occasionally answer to “Hey, Rockstar.” —unless you’re snapping, then I pretend not to hear you.

I grew up on a farm in the Goodhue area, and went to school in Goodhue. After high school, I attended the University of Minnesota. I began working as a crop insurance agent in 2005, and joined the Goodhue Insurance team in 2012. Crop insurance has always been my specialty, but working at Goodhue Insurance has allowed me to expand into farm, home, and auto insurance as well. My wife Miranda and I have two kids in high school. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, being involved in my kids’ activities, and working on the farm. I look forward to working with you on any of your insurance needs.
